Wellness Center Overview

The Wellness Center at Fernando R. Ledesma High School (FRLHS) provides a welcoming, soothing, and confidential environment where students can focus on their physical, emotional, and mental health. Supported by dedicated staff, the center offers a variety of services to help students thrive:

Open Center Access: Available before and after school, as well as during nutrition break and lunch, the Wellness Center provides a quiet space for students to decompress, build positive relationships, and recharge.

Wellness Passes: Students can visit during instructional time using a pass from school staff. These short wellness breaks allow students to recenter through activities such as arts and crafts, reading, or meditation.

Groups & Workshops: We host regular interactive sessions and workshops focused on mental health and overall well-being for students, families, staff, and community members.

Wellness Campaigns: Monthly campaigns and year-round initiatives promote physical activity, healthy habits, and mental well-being—fostering a supportive, stigma-free culture across the campus.

Resources & Referrals: Our staff assists students in connecting with tailored internal and external resources, including health services, targeted interventions, and ongoing mental health support.

The FRLHS Wellness Center is committed to empowering students and fostering a safe, positive environment that supports learning and lifelong well-being. We look forward to welcoming you!
